Symphonic metal band Epinikion Explores Extraordinary Energy in Humans and Nature on Second Album “The Force of Nature”

Upcoming symphonic metal band Epinikion is set to release the impatiently awaited album “The Force of Nature” on 6 February 2026. The album blends epic orchestral walls of sound with huge guitar riffs and strong female vocals throughout the entire album. Compelling drums with a great energetic impact complete the creativity of the songs. All different backgrounds of the six musicians of Epinikion have been expertly thrown through a musical blender, resulting in 12 highly listenable epic songs. They offer fans a breathtaking journey through the essence of man and the connected forces of nature.

This 12-track release features artwork made by Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design) and is mixed and mastered by multi-talent producer and mix engineer Jacob Hansen (Hansen Studios). Both big names in their field, offering a guarantee for quality in sound and visuals of “The Force of Nature”.

‘The music comes from a universe of tales that takes you into the depths of the human mind’ says Renate de Boer, basic creator of the songs. ‘As a psychologist I come across all kinds of stories about the energy it takes to make difficult choices in life. Some with a fantastic ending and some heartbreaking. I have tried to capture these emotions in the songs of “The Force of Nature”, straight from the heart’.

Songs like “Don’t Wake Up the Dead” and “I Thought You Were on My Side” unravel human emotions like vulnerability, love and responsibility. Depth is supported by layered harmonies and special combinations of instruments. Epinikion easily switches from ominous, dark and exciting atmospheres to a subtle acoustic guitar with solemn vocals. The songs have different vibes but share the undeniable Epinikion sound. “The Force of Nature” will be available on all major streaming platforms and international promotional performances are planned for 2026.

About Epinikion

The band started as a project in 2020 and released the debut album “Inquisition” in 2022. Starting with session musicians the team successfully grew into a permanent band. A fresh sound, good compositions and music performed by experienced musicians can be heard on their latest album.
